1. Improvements to barcode recognition<\/p>\n
Improvements have been made to the Code 39, Code 128, GS1-Databar and Datamatrix modules.<\/p>\n
2. Code 93 Support<\/p>\n
Support for Code 93 barcodes has also been added. Please refer to the manual page for further details.<\/p>\n
3. TIF Resolution<\/p>\n
If a TIF document uses a resolution of 1 dpi then the value will be ignored and a default value of 200 dpi used instead.<\/p>\n
4. PDF-417 decoding<\/p>\n
An error has been fixed that could lead to corruption in the output values for some PDF-417 barcodes.<\/p>\n
5. Partial reads on PDF-417 barcodes<\/p>\n
It was possible for certain PDF-417 barcodes to give partial and incorrect readings. This has been corrected. The maximum length for a PDF-417 barcode has now been increased from 2K to 8K (when represented in quoted printable format).<\/p>\n
6. 2-D barcodes at coarse fax resolution<\/p>\n
Previous versions of the toolkit were not able to decode 2-D barcodes from coarse resolution faxes because the vertical and horizontal resolutions were different. This has been corrected.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
