However this can be dealt with using Softek&#8217;s software through the methods shown below.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1. Turn off barcode types you do not need to read. For example, say<br \/>\nthe c53e barcode is of type CODABAR and the barcodes you actually want<br \/>\nto read are of type CODE39 then turn off CODABAR barcodes with<br \/>\nreader.ReadCodabar = false.<\/p>\n<p>2. Unless you need to read barcodes of length 1 then do not set<br \/>\nMinLength = 1 because this increases the chances of a false positive<br \/>\nresult.<\/p>\n<p>3. Use the Pattern property to specify a regular expression that the<br \/>\nbarcode value must match.<\/p>\n<p>4. Set MinOccurrence = PrefOccurrence = 5. This increases the<br \/>\nthreshold for barcode recognition. You can increase this further if<br \/>\nneeds be.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Still Having trouble?
